The first issue of Lay Flat, Remain in Light, it set to release at the beginning of next month. The project is being led by Shane Lavalette and seems like it could be a nice, and less expensive, addition to the world of photography books. Opposed to the usual practice of binding the photos into a book, accompanied by text, Lay Flat will be producing the prints themselves in an unbound format.
